Matthew chapters five through seven are referred to as Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. Many people see the teachings and commands in the Sermon on the Mount as unattainable; a set of rules they could never measure up to. The truth is that we cannot live up to these standards in our own power and strength. But as Jesus transforms us from the inside out, we can become the type of people who do and say the things Jesus teaches.
