This Sunday, in From the Cradle to the Cross, we see Jesus setting up the headquarters for his earthly ministry in Capernaum, where he would call his first disciples. Importantly ,this fulfilled a prophecy from Isaiah that Jesus would dwell in, "Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles." Fulfilled prophecy is one of the greatest arguments for our faith in Jesus. It is estimated Jesus fulfilled between 300 and 500 prophecies in the Old Testament alone. Jesus could have never orchestrated fulfilling these on his own. As Christians, we believe in a Jesus who is a historical figure, who was and is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God and our Savior!
